The United Way of Pekin is dedicated to addressing food insecurity in our community, a challenge that touches the lives of many. Our list includes a variety of food pantries, each with its unique schedule and resources, aimed at providing nutritious food to families and individuals. Additionally, we feature locations where hot meals are served, offering not just sustenance but also a warm, welcoming environment for all who come through their doors.

We would like to point out that we DO NOT operate a food pantry at our location!

1:00 – 4:00 pm: The Hope Cupboard, 1414 N. 8th Street (Need valid ID card)
9:30 - 11:00 am: 1st Baptist Church, 700 S. Capitol Street *(By appointment only, call within one week to get on schedule 309-347-5965, limited to 2x per month)
5:00 - 6:00 pm: Grace Baptist Church (Located between Pekin & Tremont at 20231 IL-9, photo ID req.)
8:30 – 11:00 am: St. Vincent DePaul, 303 S. 7th Street
9:00 – 11:00 am: Pekin Township, 420 Elizabeth Street
9:30 – 11:30 am: Salvation Army, 245 Derby Street
9:45 – 11:30 pm: Liberty Baptist Church, 2105 Sheridan Road (DL or ID with Tazewell Co. address required.)
1:00 – 2:00 pm: 1st Church of God, 2520 Maywood Avenue (Photo ID Req.)

11:00am – 12:30pm: St. Paul's United Church of Christ , 101 N. 8th Street (Open 3rd Thursday of the month at 4:30 or by special appointment)
